The TEMA+ Consortium is glad that in the midst of the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, we have some happy news to share.

The Scientific Coordinator of our TEMA+ master program, Prof. Gábor Sonkoly, DSc was awarded Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite by French president Emmanuel Macron for his achievements in improving Franco-Hungarian cultural relations in October 2020. Furthermore, Prof. Sonkoly was nominated as the President of the European Heritage Label Panel in October 2020. Prof. Sonkoly has been a member of the Panel, delegated by the European Commission.  The Panel is responsible for the monitoring and selection of European Heritage Sites.
