At UL, the International Office (www.ulaval.ca/international) helps the students accomplish administrative procedures, their integration and find housing. The university is equipped with a wireless network (Eduroam), each student will receive a student card and an email address. The student card gives access to the Sports Complex (PEPS), the university library and many on campus activities.

In Quebec, residence halls are available for a limited number of students and off-campus housing is abundant and managed through websites (www.kijiji.ca and www.lespac.ca). As for the accommodation, a limited number of rooms are reserved for exchange students at the campus residence halls.

Students admitted will receive a special reservation form with their application form. The orientation period contains the registration and a two-day welcome fair—“La Rentrée UL”—during the first week of classes. Campus facilities comprise large sports complex (PEPS), library, services buildings (pub, bank, cafeteria, hair salon, bookstore, student associations, etc.). The campus is well served by public transit. French courses will be offered by Laval University’s École de langues (ELUL).
