Service for students in Prague

Formed by the four administrative coordinators, the TEMA Secretariat is in charge of hosting the TEMA students. While most types of services are the same across all the universities, some have their own specificities.

More specifically, the Charles University in Prague offers the following services:

  • You will be hosted by the European Office
  • Charles University offers accommodation in its Halls of Residence
  • However, if you prefer to live off-campus, the European Office will help you to find an apartment
  • There is also a real estate agency specialized in flat rent for students
  • The university has also established an Erasmus Club in order to integrate the students into the local community
  • In addition, the international office guides the students through the process of obtaining a visa at the embassy
  • The university also offers its students an opportunity to take part in intramural sport activities, worship services, as well as in English, French, and Czech language courses
  • An Information and Advisory Centre, a Social and Legal Advisory Center, and a Psychological Counselling Centre are also at your disposal
  • As a student at Charles University, you will also have access to several cafeterias, canteens, the libraries of the university, the archives of the city of Prague, as well as to a digital work space (Eduroam)
